Supply Chain Management is a process that deals with the flow of goods and services from the initial point of production to the point of consumption. It includes activities such as inventory control, order fulfillment, warehousing, transportation planning, quality control and customer service. The SCM process also includes inventory management which is the management of items in a store or warehouse.
