A sales and marketing funnel is a marketing strategy used to direct potential customers to the desired action. The funnel can be a traditional one or a digital one. A sales and marketing funnel is made up of three stages: Awareness, Consideration, and Action. The awareness stage includes advertising, social media ads, webinars, email campaigns or any other type of promotion that will introduce the product to the customer. The consideration stage includes product reviews from other customers or content that will stimulate interest in the product. Finally, the action stage includes purchase of the product or subscription to a newsletter.
