The purpose of a company’s objectives and key results (OKRs) is to align the company's efforts, identify what needs to be done and measure progress. The three levels of OKRs are Company, Team and Individual. Company level objectives are broad goals that the company sets for the year, usually in terms of revenue or growth. Key results are specific metrics that will be used to track if the company has met their goal. Individual level objectives should focus on personal development goals for employees. The key result can be how much time they spent learning a new skill or how many hours they spent working on their individual project for the week.
