Lawson's Supply Chain Management SCM and Customer Relationship Management CRM model is a framework for managing the supply chain and customer relationship management. This model was first developed by a team of experts from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, who were interested in developing a comprehensive framework that would help companies improve their performance in the global marketplace. This two-part model consists of two parts: supply chain management and customer relationship management. While each part has its own set of objectives, they also work together to create an effective system that can be used to achieve company goals. The first part, supply chain management, focuses on managing the flow of products throughout the various stages of production as well as distribution channels.
