The Diamond Model Porter's Five Forces analysis is a tool used to assess the competitive forces at work in a given industry. The purpose of the model is to identify and analyze the most important sources of profit for a company. The model can be used for both large and small companies, but it's primarily designed for large companies. The five forces are supplier power, buyer power, threat of new entrants, threat of substitutes and degree of competition.
